About Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

UT Systems – Archer Fellowship Program

One of forty students competitively selected across University of Texas system to participate in a fellowship in Washington D.C. Archer Fellows remain enrolled in their home institution and earn 15 hours of in-residence credit for their experience in D.C. In addition to receiving credit for the full-time internship, students take classes focused on policy, history, and advocacy from UT faculty members.

Internship Highlights
    • Tracked shirt sales for 10,000 ‘Love Conquers Hate’ Russian Tees for in-store sales as well as online
    • Lighting Assistant for photographing 100+ volunteers, board and steering committee members during convention
    • Interviewed Betty Who and Galantis for ‘Equality Rocks’ campaign, a 50+ musician campaign to promote equality
    • Published Blog of Equality Convention
