Birthday Auction

Create a piece of artwork of any medium to display and auction at a birthday party. Each household may bring up to 2 pieces of work and a pre-selected charity of choice in which funds will be donated towards.

Decorate your home with artwork personally created by your closed friends (or new friends).

Concept
The grass is not always greener on the other side or the sky is not always clearer on the other side. The capital building sits on an isthmus in Madison, Wisconsin, between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. Be the link between two larger areas of land under the same sky and work together to leave No Kid Hungry.​

Madison Love With You

Concept
The statue atop the state capitol building is named Wisconsin, she was placed on the capitol dome as a symbol of the state’s motto, “Forward.” The coordinates are a call to action to those under her wing. Help Madison 4 Kids make a difference in the life of kids: to be healthy, to have confidence, to find inspiration and to learn.

Stay Golden Madison

Concept
Due to Madison’s height restriction, buildings rarely exceed over 160 feet in height. Therefore, it is nearly impossible to get lost in downtown Madison. Infatuated by my experience in moving to Madison, Wisconsin and never feeling lost. This piece is a homage to the golden statue atop the capital building since she’s been my golden compass.

Closing Remarks

Together, friends and I collectively raised $10K+ in 3 years.

  • It's fun to create personal artwork to sale amongst friends to benefit charities of choice.
  • Giving can be contagious and a healthy dosage of competitiveness to outdo the year before.
  • Consider doing a personal art auction for charity for your next birthday party.
